It was just a smart choice for a momentary pause in San Diego with decent value for money. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very good, much better than the room service. Make sure to reserve dining in advance to avoid long waits.

Had an amazing time with friends! We explored the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, which were both fantastic. The hotel's atmosphere was beautiful and cozy. Service was on point, and we loved coming back to our comfy room after our adventures.
However, the spa experience wasn't great.

Impressive architectural style and lavish decor showcasing classic elegance. Prime location near vibrant downtown areas, making it easy to explore restaurants and shops.
Elevators out of service, causing inconvenience and delays during stay. Room conditions fell short of expectations with cleanliness issues such as stains on walls and pillows. Valet parking felt overly expensive, adding to the frustration of arriving after travel.

The Grant Grill had us feeling like royalty with impeccable service and tasty samples while we waited. Plus, the comfy beds were a total vibe after hitting up nearby spots like Osetra Seafood & Steaks and Gaslamp Fish House for wicked good eats. Can't forget the killer location close to everything!
But, boy, the hotel had its moments. Elevators were down, keycard mishaps had us wandering like lost puppies, and our first day was a ghost town with no housekeeping. The valet staff could use a lesson in hospitality, too. Talk about a rocky start!

Beautiful hotel with an outstanding location. the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The concierge's dining suggestions were superb, and the daily fresh fish was a highlight. However, the comfort of the bed in our room could use improvement, and the overall decor feels a bit dated. Reservations are recommended as it fills up quickly.

The staff delivered great service throughout my stay. The restaurant suggested by the concierge was worth the visit, providing me with a great local dining experience. I appreciated the gym's variety of equipment, which helped maintain my routine during the trip. As someone who enjoys road trips, having a well-equipped fitness space was a bonus.
There was noise from guests in the hallway disrupting my peace at times. The upgrade I received didn’t enhance my experience as much as I expected.
